Latin America faces a unique position in its history, given that for the first time, a global-scale economic crisis, previously started in the United States and Europe, doesn’t strike so hard in the region, increased by under development and dependence, and also it’s the first time, this crisis is experienced bringing about a favorable exchange relationship for the region. The fact that hegemonic centers are unable to sustain association or integration projects with the region propitiates the new roads, and probably a positive future scenario for Latin America, establishing regional integration as a logic consequence.
